VV Drive Tree ("the Extension") is dedicated to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how your data is handled.

1. Data Collection and Usage
The Extension accesses your Google Drive data solely to display a navigable file tree within the Google Drive web interface.
Google Drive Files: We access file names, folder structures, and metadata (e.g., MIME types, starred status) to build the sidebar tree.
Authentication: We use OAuth 2.0 to securely authenticate with your Google account. Tokens are stored locally on your device.

2. Data Storage
All data is stored locally on your device.
Authentication tokens and user preferences (such as expanded folders and favorites) are stored in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local).
We do not operate any external servers. No user data, files, or credentials are ever sent to the developer or any third-party servers.

3. Third-Party Services
The Extension communicates directly with officially supported Google APIs:
Google Drive API
Google Identity Services
